Modest Swimsuits: Separates
January 16th, 2012 | Posted by in modest swimsuits
Diversify your swimsuit collection! If you buy swimsuit separates, you may create an entire swimsuit wardrobe out of a few staple pieces. Get the bottoms in one solid color, such as black, and then get a few patterned as well as solid color tops. Switching the different top styles and designs and rotating between differently shaped bottoms allows you to look like you have a new bathing suit for every day of the week.
If you do not feel comfortable flaunting your body, do not fret; separates include tankini tops and boy-cut shorts, so you will be able to find a style with which you feel comfortable. Separates also tend to cost less than traditional modest swimsuits; therefore, you will be able to purchase far more options than just a single bathing suit would afford you. You should still invest in a couple of quality modest swimsuits, but your swimsuit collection will not be complete without bathing suit separates.
Certain types of tops, such as tankinis, are also more practical if you have to leave the beach or a pool to run an errand. Rather than change into street clothes only to have change back into a bathing suit, you may throw on a skirt or a pair of shorts over your swim bottoms and wear the tankini as a top.
